IcPro to reflect C15.0.20 mixer folders

Now we have mix console group folders (summing channels) in Cubase, could this be added to IcPro?

While we are on the IcPro feature requests, it would be great to be able to see a detailed wave pattern inside a project window track - eg to help with vocal doubling etc.

Agreed. Also the fader does appear for the group/folder but the record button does not appear. I have a group folder for my drums which allows me to click record on the folder track and enable recording on all within the folder. On icpro this is not possible. It’s very frustrating to get into the drum room and realise I haven’t record enabled and then have to enable each track individually instead of just the folder/group.

hello, I sincerely believe that this will never happen, given the path of IC Pro. several things have been requested during all these years and they have not been fulfilled. and just in case a couple of incompatibilities between systems were fixed.

simply use the App as is otherwise, Avid Control is your way to go. I’m tired of Steinberg not prioritizing his stuff, and while IC is very useful for self-recording, Avid Control is very useful for other things.

selecting a channel in Cubase and having it reflected on the tablet (and vice versa) is another level. I can watch my folder channels in Avid Control, and not in Cubase if I want, which makes my life easier when mixing, seeing all my channels separated by color at a glance…and don’t forget, FREE!

It is free and I have used it myself before. I do prefer a lot of icpro though and think they really should support it better.

I completely agree with you, but sadly, the facts speak for themselves.

At first, I refused to use Avid, and I stopped using it altogether, even though I had seen its potential. IC Pro, when it worked, was VERY useful, and I still use it in a recording environment.

For me, and in my current situation, Avid Control gives me much better control. I’ve migrated all my IC Pro settings to Avid Control and I can do ALMOST whatever I want. Besides, I got tired of waiting for Steinberg. In fact, the last straw was when they updated IC Pro to work with Apple Silicon devices, although there haven’t been any improvements since then (it’s been at least 6 years now). And in 2026, IC Pro still doesn’t support selection in Cubase…
