Hello, if I purchase the Cubase Pro 15 student edition, will I be eligible for an upgrade to version 16, and at what price?

It’s a discount for first-time users who are students. When you update to a newer version you pay the same as regular non-student customers, and the license becomes a full retail license.
Academic licenses are not resalable, iirc.
