I guess you mean AI Engine…
That message means ReSing can’t find (or load) the local AI runtime (engine) and/or the installed voice model files it needs to render audio, so the plugin has nothing to process with. ReSing’s models run locally on your computer (not in the cloud), so if the engine component or model library isn’t present where ReSing expects it, you’ll see “engine disappeared / voice model missing” symptoms.
Common causes (practical)
- Incomplete install/models not downloaded in IK Product Manager (plugin loads, but model content isn’t there).
- ARA host mismatch or bridging mode issues (some hosts/users report special requirements, e.g., Logic via Rosetta in certain setups), which can prevent the engine from initialising correctly.
What to do next
- Open IK Product Manager and confirm ReSing (and any “content/models” packages) are fully installed and up to date.
- Verify the model list appears in ReSing; if not, re-download models or reinstall ReSing so the engine + model library paths are restored.

Try IK Multimedia support, please.
The error seems to be related to the fragile integration between the software and its network stack, which breaks quite easily. If the software cannot access the internet for whatever reason (most of which being their fault for being heavy handed with copy protection), the software will simply not work and it will freeze on load in the worst case scenario.
Good luck getting IK to respond to support emails. Much like Universal Audio, you often have to complain about it in their forums so their representative there can push the ticket request further.
