iLok issue - trigger2

Just got a new computer and installed Cubase 13 etc and also Trigger2 along with the iLok software only to find pout that the iLok does not work with AMD Ryzen 9 processors, I uninstalled Trigger and iLok but on boot up Cubase stops and I get an iLok notification Saying Activation Required??? I can’t find any trigger2.dll files in my VST folder…can anyone help please.

Is the plug-in listed in the VST Plug-in Manager? In its lower panel you should find information on where the plug-in is located. If it’s a VST3 plug-in, it’s probably in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 or in a subfolder.

Please consider bringing this issue to the attention of the maker of iLok.
Cubase does not pass on this notification, it is the iLok system. Obviously their de-install routine wasn’t 100% succesful.

There are indeed a lot of people who report that iLok software with AMD Ryzen 9900. iLok says an AMD fix is needed for this to be resolved.

From what I heard the 9790x AMD works.

However, when you say activation is required I never heard of that kind of error messages for this issue, but more about error 2001 and unstable DAW’s. It sounds like you need to activate it in a normal world

Are you sure you have available licenses for your software in the iLok? Do you use a dongle, cloud or computer to activate? and did you remove the licenses from your old computer?
