I appreciate that many users are using one very large monitor but I’m not there yet. Here’s my problem and my question. (And, yes, I understand that PG has a preference for the use of one monitor.)
So… If I open WL on my left monitor I will sometimes place my opened plugin GUIs on the right monitor. OK. For that matter, if I am on the face of the GUI of a plugin adjusting things (on the same monitor that WL’s is open on), my space bar will not control the stopping or starting of WL. I have to move my curser to the GUI of WL to make this happen. Is there a way to create a preset/preference within WL that I can activate on my keyboard, to automatically start/stop the playback WITHOUT clicking on the WL GUI?? Something that overrides the need to click the curser on the face of the WL GUI?
FWIW, Cubase does not behave this way and, although it doesn’t do what WL can do, to me this clicking on the WL GUI seems incredibly unnecessary.
If there’s already a way to do this and I missed it, sure, this is certainly possible. However, my idiocy admitted, I would still appreciate some help here.
