a nice option would be to import a list of tracks created in excel.
We can imagine a column to define the type of track (audio, instrument, folder,…), a column for the name (Violin, Omnisphere, …)
Conversely, exporting from excel should also be possible.
I think this might be practical for large templates and it would provide additional flexibility. In Excel the input seems easier than on Cubase!
I think that we can already do more or less this kind of thing with the markers and it would be really convenient to extend it to other functions (recover the list of all the effects used by tracks, the pre-gain, etc etc etc…
