I’m attempting my first remix. I’ve gathered several audio tracks and copied them into Cubase.
They currently have different BPMs. I want them all to be at 120bpm.
How do I adjust all the tracks to the project tempo of 120?
Thanks in advance
Hi,
Enable the Musical Mode at all Audio Events in the Info Line or Pool. Then they will follow the Project Tempo.
Thanks. I tried that but it’s still not in line with my grid.
Do I need to do something with hitpoints? FYI the track is dance so I expect it will be a regular tempo throughout.
I lined up the first beat with my project grid but the track quickly falls behind the tempo. The only way I can think of is to manually count all the bars and then use the time stretch pointer tool to shrink it but I’m hoping there’s a better way.
Thanks again for the suggestion. It turned out that I had to correct the original tempo in the Pool.

I found the video a bit too late to post it.
Very helpful video.
This is also a symptom of having an incorrect BPM set for the Audio in the Pool. For example the Audio is actually playing at 112BPM but in the Pool is set to 110BPM. So it’s often a good idea to check for this before doing the extra work of the method Dom shows - because you might not need to.
Thanks. Yes, it’s been a useful learning experience.
I found this video useful too regarding your point about finding the original tempo.
