Hello!
Cubase 6.5.5 here on Mac OS 10.8.5 with 32GB Ram and I have a little problem:
As the title says: When I import a video and put it on the video track, the first frame of the movie is missing. I noticed because I got a 24 fps .mov with inserted TC and although opening in Quicktime it starts correctly at 01:00:00:00, in Cubase the first frame is 01:00:00:01.
First I thought it might be a 24 fps issue and tried with a 25 fps mov, but still the same…
The fps in project settings where set accordingly, so this is not the problem.
Does anyone have the same problem, or could someone check?
Steps to reproduce:
- Create an empty project.
- Set project fps to match the video that you are going to import.
- import a video with inserted timecode and drop it into the project window.
- open the Video Player window and check if the first frame is displayed.
