Importing Flows from Other Documents

I have attempted multiple times to import flow from two separate files into another document. While I get much on the screen I cannot get all the players to appear on score. In some instances a player, such as the tuba appears at the bottom of the score in the imported flow, and will not play,
The four horns are listed as horn 7-9. Some instruments won’t playback,
It is worth noting that some of the players, though not all, in the original document from which I am importing were linked in anticipation of printing a part for an isnturmentalist who changes instruments (eg Oboe 2 doubles on English Horn, bassoon 2 doubles on contrabassoon),
Where have I gone wrong and how the hell am I going to get this score out by May 1!!

It’s very hard to know what’s going on without seeing a copy of the actual document.

Have you reset the playback template?

Was there an option to Merge Players or create new ones; and if so which did you choose?

In Setup mode, are all the Players and all the Flows ‘in’ the Full Score Layout?

Antonio, welcome to the forum.
When you import xml files into Dorico you will get the option to merge players with existing ones or to create new players. If you choose to merge, you might still get new players, if Dorico can’t be 100% sure that the source instrument matches the existing player.
In the new flow make sure that both players (the old and the newly created) are linked/visible. This way you can move the music to the already existing player - and afterwards delete the unwanted one.
For moving you can f.e. use cut and paste or copy and paste.
