Hello to all - I’m not particularly happy with the ride cymbals in the default Cubasis 3 drum kits and would like to try the sounds from Garageband.
Thank you for your message and a warm welcome to the Cubasis forum!

Did you try out all available drum kits, included in the MiniSampler and MicroSonic instruments? These are the steps to quickly browse through all instruments’ presets:
- Go to Media/Instruments
- Open an instrument folder (e.g. Microsonic, MiniSampler or Micrologue)
- Select a factory preset and make sure “Autoplay” is enabled
In regards to your question:
I do not think it is possible to export the samples of a GarageBand instrument. If you’re able to record the instrument yourself, you might use the sample(s) and create your own MiniSampler instrument from it.
In addition, there are many 3d party drum instruments available on the market, which easily could be used with Cubasis (e.g. via Audio Unit).
Hope that helps!
