Importing Pro Tools Playlists into Cubase 10

Hello,

I am looking to import some sessions from Pro Tools into Cubase 10.
I recall doing this with an OMF file before, not sure if thats still the best option.

I am wondering if there is a way to import all of the Pro Tools playlists in a session and have Cubase recognize them as “Versions”.

Specifically, recorded numerous drum takes in Pro Tools, and want to do the comping with all the takes in Cubase.

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

Hi,

As ProTools can’t do AAF, OMF is the only way to go.

I’m on the exact same boat as you, need to import Pro Tools session where there are a lot of playlists on tracks. How to do it in the best way, to have cubase/nuendo assuming they’re versions?

I never did find a way to import the playlists. Had to do the comping on PT and export OMF’s to Cubase.
