Unfortunately i don’t succeed to import audio from movie. i tought maybe it can be the format of the movie i wanted to use but i tried also to import audio from a movie i alreday imported before on cubase 3sx and i didn’t succeed either. and for some reason i don’t succeed to open topic at the official cubase forum…
Have you checked to activate Preferences>Video>Extract Audio on Import Video File?
Then drag the video file into the project Window. This works for me, and if I don’t want the video in the project I just delete it.
More info from you would be needed if you want more info. Like what kind of video file and so on. But my experience is that any file that Cubase can read works fine.
Also, be sure you have Quicktime installed on your machine.
