Hello, should we wait for news from IC Pro or is it better to lose hope?
good question. i would normally tend to favour the optimistic side of any kind of forecast into the future, but in this instance i am unsure. when i am unsure i tend to erase the problem from my mind until some facts emerge and in this instance I would recommend this approach.
I just want someone from Steinberg to comment on this…
Hi @Pablin_Drummer2, Hi all,
We’ve just released a minor Cubase iC Pro 1.2.7 for Android maintenance update.

Best,

Haha im using Apple….
For using icPro as a StreamDeck, it’s great… For the rest… meh… if they don’t improve it, there’s not much you can do. I’ve been using Avid Control these days, and it seems like a joke that it’s free… At least I can use both together. Anyway, nice try. And thanks for fixing the problem Android users were having (we had it on Apple too, and it was a nightmare).
Thanks for your reply.
We are sorry to read if Cubase iC Pro is not for you.
Enjoy being creative and stay well,
Lars
IC Pro is the one for me, and it’s a great addition to Cubase. I’m just saying you should work on improving it and bringing it up to the level it deserves, even if you have to charge a little more for it. I’d better not “poison” the thread (not my intention). Thanks for your efforts, Lars.
it really bothers me to see that Steinberg is still selling his half-finished ICPro. Don’t get me wrong, dear Steiny, but you should improve your remote application A LOT if you want to outperform the competition and not be left behind. It has very good points, but so do the others, with the simple difference that ALL the others are free.
it was not because of asking for Corrections and improvements, on the part of the users, I think many have given a lot of effort, but this is the reality.
I will NOT write in this section again. Have a Merry Christmas Steiny.
Actually, IC Pro is very useful to me! Other DAW users in the studio have been impressed when I remote control my own voice-overs from the booth!
@LSlowak, I have a feature request! The Cubasis mixer allows options to configure what channel types are shown, and does offer a Cue Mix view. But the default MixConsole view does not respect the current view in Cubase - Cubasis shows Hidden Channels. Could it default to the same main mixConsole as is currently active in Cubase?
Hello AlanP, thank you for commenting and have a happy 2026
As for IC pro it was also useful for me, in fact when it works I still use it. As I said in my several posts (and I don’t know if any have been removed) I wish the App would continue to be improved as it still needs MANY improvements. It’s the same since it’s been published, and it still needs some basic things. I refer to the fact that Apps from other DAWs that are free have these improvements.
I’ve made my complete transition to Avid Control (based on Eucon) which does the IC Pro thing and much more!! It’s true that eucon is a little silly sometimes, but you restart the service and that’s it.
at least the Avid team keeps adding improvements or fixing bugs and works fine on my 2 not-so-modern iPads.
PS: I wouldn’t request FR because they just aren’t going to happen. If it works like that for you, great. but there will be no improvements, which is a shame, but Avid is already there to implement them.
