I have a problem with the render in place feature. I am using a Yamaha MOXF8 as both my midi keyboard and the sounds from it using the external VST feature. Since it is an external source it renders in real time. But when it is done the audio file is empty.
I am using Cubase 10.5 pro
I made sure that the proper audio inputs were activated. I am using a Steinberg UR44C, plugging the keyboard into channels 5 and 6 in the studio setup and audio connections tab.
I’ve had this happen before, but then it works - I can’t see any differences…has anyone else ran into this problem? It is quite maddening.
