In Cubase 15, "Adjust for Record Latency" won't stay unchecked

i open Edit->Audio Settings and then uncheck “Adjust for Record Latency” then click okay.

but, when i open the dialog again, the box is checked again.

how do i disable it for real?
i tried starting in safe mode and disabling preferences, but that didn’t help, i still can’t uncheck it.

same behaviour here. I’m afraid, I have got no answer to your question.
However, I’ve got another question instead: Why would you want to disable that option in the first place?

I can’t answer for @Farqan_Danzelfrutz , but for people who record with direct monitoring, i wonder if having it checked could cause problems?

I can’t reproduce on Mac but assuming you’re on Windows, I’m wondering if Cubase is trying to be smart and only letting you check it if you have plugs on inputs that would affect it?? Do you have any plugs with latency on input buses?
