I know the answer most likely is no, but the text in Wavelab Pro 12 seems to be even smaller than in Cubase, so I either have to zoom in the whole GUI to a certain area, or set the OS display dimension to something smaller to be able to read it.
It is really tiny… I agree !!
I agree that it could probably be slightly larger but it kind of depends how close you are to your screen.
That said, I regularly use this macOS feature to easily/quickly zoom in which helps for proofing CD-Text/Marker Names, rendering paths, and other details I need to see more clearly.
One you get the muscle memory down it’s like second nature to zoom in to more easily read what you need to accurately see and read.
I use it with other apps besides WaveLab as well.
That’s a great suggestion. It works with the two-finger gesture on an Apple mouse or with the mouse wheel on devices like the Logitech mouse (I prefer the latter).
Yes, it also works on a trackpad with Mac laptops, and even just normal single-finger scrolling (with the virtual mouse wheel) with the Apple Magic Mouse when holding Control.
After a short period of time, it becomes second nature to quickly zoom in and out, and I even use it when doing things like composing emails on all my Macs of greatly varying screen sizes (13" up to 55") to help focus on what I’m doing.
Thanks, I’ve known about this feature for years and use it often, but that’s not the way it should be. Every app should have an adjustable GUI scale feature, and not in large increments like Kontakt, where 100% is too small, and 125% is a bit too large.
Every single software company should look at the Blender GUI, which is the best there is, and GUI scaling is done in very small increments, so no matter what your preference is, you’re covered.
