I know I can enable “link project and lower zone editor cursors”, but “in place” is more convenient for me.
12 PRO is here, but still no my favorite “diamond” notes in the “in place editor”

Yeah, why not. Drums are a little strange compared to pitched instruments in a DAW. With the addition to the Drum Editor a few versions ago where you can show only the used drums in the editor and stuff like that you could have a pretty slim lower zone and click at percussion parts in the project you want to edit. That would be an improvement for percussion editing.
