Inactive notes as reference in score

In my learning process i like to add a pianomelody as reference in the galley view
This pianomelody must for some bars not te be hearable …how to do this?

You can mute individual notes

If you want the entire reference melody to be only for display you can also mute it in the Mixer.

Or you can un-assign it’s sound in play mode, so that there’s no sound to begin with (either will have the same effect).
