If I want this chord to be held the entire length of the second bar, my current Dorico ability tells me to type the chord in again for beat four, then select the previous chord and hit “T” to tie it all together. There must be a more efficient way of doing this, isn’t there?
Yes. After you’ve entered the quarter-note chord, with it still selected, press Alt-Shift-right arrow to lengthen it.
