Initial grace notes do not play

And what’s more, they do not even show up in the Play Mode.

Is this related to my previous topic about tied grace notes not working properly? I am having trouble untangling this behaviour. It would be great if it just worked as you’d expect. Either I completely misunderstand Dorico here, or it’s quite a shortcoming.

Have you correctly set Library > Playback Options > Timing > Pre-roll before flow to something greater than 0 seconds?
