Hi,
Is there a way to view the input signal of a track without having the “monitor” button selected. I dont want to hear the input as i monitor externally but i would like to see the input level before hitting record.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I´m talking ´bout “Input channels”, contrary to “audio tracks”, that you seem to still be looking at.
They can be made visible in the mix console via the “channel types filter” button / the visibiulity panel, in the project window by pressing the “global write button”. More info on input channels should be available in the manual.
It will also tell you, if they are available for your sofrware version, which you are not telling us.
