Hi, I noticed the new Dorico update have a scrolling menu for playing techniques. I just loved you could type pizz or arco and then enter. That’s it! Is it possible to have both? The scrolling menu and enter button because right now you need to click with the mouse on the selection for it to appear in the score. Or at least select something in the scrolling menu and type enter would be ok, this doens’t work as well. I’m on Windows.
My experience with the playing techniques popover is that you type your playing technique “shortcut” (the one defined in the playing techniques editor) in the popover, and press Enter, and it’s there. No need to click anywhere. Dorico has been optimized for us to use it with as little clicking as possible.
Found it! I need to press enter two times. One is for selecting the right playing technique and the second to input I guess.
