Inputting third party sounds to Cubase 10.5

I want to import a Soundcloud file to help add some instruments for a band . How do I import Soundcloud audio ( or any third party audio that plays on my mac) into Cubase ?

I run Cubase on an iMac.

You want to end up with the Audio files in your Project’s Pool - so open it and use the Import button.

Thanks for replying, but there is no project pool in 10.5… is there ?

There is. But you can also find ‘Import’ under the file menu. Audio will end up in the pool either way.
