I’m interested in the 50% discount offer. However, I currently have Cubase 13 pro fully installed and activated.
If I purchase the update again, for Cubase 13 and choose not to activate it, will I be able to upgrade to version 13.5 or 14 once it’s released? I would prefer not to miss out on this offer.
That would be great but it won’t work because you probably no longer have a version the update could be applied to. If you buy an update for Cubase 12 to 13, which is the most recent one currently available, you’ll need a Cubase 12 license to redeem the corresponding Download Access Code. It won’t work with Cubase 13.
Hi @Martin.Jirsak I have a question regarding the grace period. I have a couple of computers in the studio running Cubase 12, and I’m not in a rush to upgrade them. If I purchase the upgrade to Cubase 13 but hold off on activating it until Cubase 14 is announced or released, would I still be eligible for a free upgrade to Cubase 14? If so, when would be the best time to activate the license on these computers?
Why not create a promotion for loyal customers that allows us to pre-order version 13.5 or 14 for when it’s released? Those of us who are only interested in Cubase will miss out on this offer, which doesn’t seem fair.
If you already own Pro 13, the cost of an upgrade to the next version when it arrives will be significantly less than paying for a full version again. Even with the discount applied to the full version.
Yes, thanks to the grace period, you’ll get Cubase 14 if you redeem the Download Access Code for Cubase 13 after the release of the Cubase 14, for example. The grace period usually starts several weeks before the release of a new version, but if the start date is unknown, you can wait until the actual release to make sure you’re eligible.
