Insert new group track above or below selected track

Hey guys… I love how a folder is added right where I’m looking (immediately below my selected track)… I wish new group tracks would do this as well. I hate having to scroll around looking for the newly added group track because at over 100 tracks it can get to be very annoying. I never keep all the group tracks together. I prefer them next to the channels I’m grouping. Any idea if there is a way to change this behavior?

Hi and welcome,

In the Add Group Channel Track dialog, you can select:

  • Create Inside Folder, or
  • Create Outside Folder
    on the right side.

If you select Create Outside Folder the channel will be added below your currently selected track.
