Insert notes for one-line stave percussion

Hello!

For the first time last week I wanted to use the one-line staves optimized for percussion (bass drum and cymbal), although I couldn’t insert notes one those lines as easily as other regular instruments, like violins or flutes, it simply didn’t work and when I clicked there were no notes! How can we insert notes on this type of stave?

If you input the notes as if they were the middle line on the treble staff, i.e. pitch B, then you should find that they can be input. But really unpitched percussion is not working at all in Dorico just yet: this is one of the most important things for us to work on next.
