The past several years under Cubase Discourse have IMO been an imptovement compared to what Steinberg used prior.
And, going further, if you were to compare todays Cubase forum with circa…Cubase 2000-2010 it was like the wild west of forums, and not in a good way. Many knowledgeable users either gave up or got kicked out by sheriffs with little or no experience.
Hello all - transitioning from S1 back to cubase after 10+ years and I was disappointed to find several reasons I’m moving away from Presonus is also present in Cubase. Either the feature should be acknowledged and placed on the roadmap, or there should be a clear decision communicated that it will not be implemented. At least then users know where things stand. Simply ignoring requests, however, leaves people in the dark.
Renaming inserts should be a fundamental function, which every other DAW I can think of already has.
