I have a project from Cubase 11 Pro that had some plugins set to bypass. When I open the project in Cubase 12 Pro, the insert plugins are unresponsive. Clicking on them does not open them, & I cannot remove them or even turn off bypass. Any suggestions?
first of all you should state Mac or PC, because from what I understand there are a lot of changes going on within the MAC operating systems and their compatibility for VST
My bad - I’m on PC.
Resolved - The problem was between the seat & the keyboard 
I had Freeze Audio Channel set on those tracks…
