insert velocity option in the editor

Hi there,

I usually manage velocities of individual or group of notes using pencil or the line tool.

But I also see insert velocity in the editor and I can make presets too.

for eg" i’ve written some notes and velocity shows as 127 below the piano roll, so I tried playing around insert velocity option in the editor. If I change it to 50 , 120 I don’t see or hear any change in notes velocity.

Can you explain how to utilize it.

The word “insert” here is a noun, not a verb. It refers to the velocity of notes added with the pencil tool, for example.

Have you checked out the editing tools that appear in the velocity lane when you select multiple notes?
