I agree that steinberg content library management is a painful and confusing process. made worse if you want all those gigabytes on an external drive.
I understand that downloading and installing cracked versions of large software instrument products involves extensive uncertainty and tinkering, missing files and unreliable results.
But it’s a shame when the experience is even worse with a legitimate product!
I ended up not installing any of Cubase’s instruments or content, much easier and I don’t use em much anyway…
I’m not using the instruments because of installation/content/licensing issues., and not using the effects because of UI and sound, so I wish there was a cheaper Cubase license that allowed plenty of channels and functionality but without all the bundled plugins I don’t use.
