Install Cubase 5 on my second computer

I’ve installed my Cubase 5 on my iMac (I have it working on my MacBook Pro) but I can’t figure out how to get everything working in the program with the elicense controll etc on the second computer.
The program opens and I can listen to files on the imac but I can’t record any new. What do I have to do to make it work?

Edit: And when I try saving it says “The project could not be saved because this disk is read only.”
How do I change to write mode?

Where is this project? did you copy it onto the computers hard drive?

The project is on an external harddrive. I wanted to be able to work with my projects from my stationary computer and my laptop. Do I really have to copy the projects to the stationary computer each time? It works fine to work with my laptop and an external harddrive.

No, externals fine, just finding out where they are, as you didn’t say.

Make sure the save path is correct!
