I had this in 2024 but it happened again! This time I checked if there this driver is installed , clear registry of leftovers, unconnect all USB devices, turnd off and on computer -
nothing happend. Please, help!
This usually happens if the components are still installed in Windows and the installed release is the same as in the installer package.
Did you remove them via the Windows settings deinstall, or did you simply delete them?
Yes I did and more - I checked it with Everything (searching app) - no traces, no leftovers.
As far as I know Everything is just searching for files, so that doesn’t help.
Microsoft provides a troubleshooter utility to find and fix installer problems, you might try that.
Thank you for help, I use Everything as searcher, that’s true, but I uninstall with Revo. Troubleshooter didn’t work - I’ve tried…
Sorry, but in my opinion this is one of the tools causing all kinds of issues, I don’t trust any of them.
Just use the Windows settings to deinstall. You never know what all these tools are doing.
