Installation Dorico SE

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to install the version of Dorico SE on a MacBook that I have extra and use a few times and so I don’t want to install it on my version of d

Dorico Pro 5 and then use a license.

Only that in the installation from the Download manager I choose Dorico SE but I always get the PRO version installed and therefore I have to enter the license I have.

How do I install the free SE version?

There is no difference between SE, Elements and Pro, they are all the same executable. It is the license that decides what level will be started.

What you can do is to hold the two keys Shift/Cmd (Ctrl on Windows) and then launch Dorico. This will launch the SE release and allow you to work with the features of SE. Next time if you start Dorico without these keys it will launch as Pro again.
