Did the manual install also fail?
Manual installation works, but installing via SDA has stopped working completely for me.
I’ve run into that once or twice when I had multiple applications selected for download and install. I assume(d) it was because one of the installers didn’t close properly before the next installer was automatically launched–but I didn’t really look into it since SDA usually works fine for me, and the manual installation worked.
Were you only installing Cubase 14? Did you recently upgrade to MacOS 26.x?
As long as the com.steinberg.SilentInstallHelper.plist daemon is set to launch automatically, the auto-installation via SDA should work. This deamon is referenced here:
The other is the HALion library installer. With this disabled, SDA won’t launch the installer for me. May want to check that.
I upgraded Cubase 14 and Cubase 15. But this also happened to me during a new installation when I bought Cubase 15, where I only installed Cubase 15 and nothing else. It just started to do nothing for me.
