Installation issue for cubase sx 2.o on mac osx

Hi everyone. I hope this post finds you well.

I have mac OSX 10.6.8 and am trying to install cubase SX 2.0. Yes I know it’s old.
I used to run cubase on windows xp but am having an installation problem with the mac.
I get an error message stating:

A file named "POS"has the same name as a folder that needs to be installed. Click cancel to stop installation or Delete to replace that file.

Neither option works. I have repeatedly tried to find the POS folder on the mac and failed.
Option to delete the file just gives another error message:

Error creating folder.
1008:9,-43 File not found.

Somewhat puzzled. I am hitting the wall here.
Any clues would be most appreciated.

Hi,

POS is about the eLicenser, if I’m right. Download an older version of eLCC application, and try to install this, please.

Btw: I found, even Cubase 4 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5 only. I cannot find a compatibility of Cubase SX 2, but it might happen, it’s not compatible.
