I just recently purchased Elements 6. When I start it up it says that the 3 things that are downloading in the attached picture are missing. The Sketch and Etude keep just saying verifying and not going anywhere even tho it says it’s downloaded.
The other download stops and won’t download anymore than the pictures progress. I even deleted said folder and tried again with the same result.
I am able to launch the program. I am not sure how much I would be able to do with the 3 things missing tho.
Well, that what you are missing are “only” sound libraries.
Basically Dorico can work without restrictions even if those sound libraries are not installed. You would only miss out on better sounds for certain instruments. Etude and Iconica offer high quality sounds for piano and orchestral instruments, and Groove Agent offers excellent drums and percussion sounds.
If I were you, I’d stop the Download Assistant and instead download the 3 mentioned packages directly from our website
But before doing that I would clean out the Downloads/Steinberg folder.
