Trying to install Tools for UR-C on a PC with the latest Windows 10 in 64-bit.
I get to the point, where you have to select to install:
Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver
Steinbert UR-C Applications
Basic FX Suite
eLicense Control Center,
but I cannot put ticks in front of the options.
I probably just solved my problem.
It occured to me, that another person, who set the computer up, had probably installed the software already.
When already installed, the options, that are installed, cannot be selected again, and so they are greyed out.
Funny, the same thing just happened to me. I forgot that I already installed the drivers and was wondering why the list is greyed out. On other Steinberg installers, you get notified if apps are already installed. In this case, the installer just greys out the app list, which I find a bit confusing.
At same point, Steinberg will probably create a unified User Experience. Mayby it is different for hardware releated installs, because it is done by a different DEV team…
