Hi all, I was just wondering if it is possible to install the Dorico Pro 5 update directly onto my new laptop? Or should I update the Dorico Pro 3 programme on my old laptop first and transfer everything over? Thanks 
Dorico 5 is a complete, standalone installer. It doesn’t need a pre-existing version.
However, it will look for any earlier versions, and copy over your preferences, playback templates, key commands, etc.
So you might want to copy those files over, at most.
