Hello,
My school is currently undertaking an installation of Dorico 4 in a computer lab that requires multiple users for each station. The IT team doing the installation has told me that the licensing software is requiring a separate activation for each user that logs in. Do you have any guidelines of how to install Dorico 4 to avoid this problem?
Many thanks,

Hi Austin, I’ll send you a PM about this.
Hi Ben,
I’m also looking to install Dorico in our school computer lab (currently trying to install Dorico SE; if that goes well then looking to purchase Dorico Pro for the whole lab.) We’re running into this same problem with multiple user logins. Can you help? Thanks!

Thanks Christian! The Multiuser Guide looks like it’s exactly what I need to solve this issue. Haven’t had a chance to try it out yet, but thanks so much for helping me find it!
Hi @eric.anderson – @Christian_R pointed you in exactly the right direction. This is the specific page you need: Manual deployment - Steinberg Multiuser Administration Guide
Ben,
Is there any chance you could help us with a similar situation? We purchased Dorico Pro 5 for our School of Music computer lab with 17 stations. Our IT folks got it set up, but there was an error in the audio install so that nothing will play.
Thanks much!
Josh
The multi-user administration guide won’t work since we need more than 3 active at the same time. Supposedly the purchase we made should accommodate this.
Thanks!
@JoshH, sorry you’re running into problems. Please email me at d dot spreadbury at steinberg dot de and include the Steinberg ID email address you have used for your multi-user license, and we’ll do what we can to help.
Thank you very much! I’m going to loop in our tech support person on campus and send you an e-mail now.
