Installing new effect plugins

Hi there,

I’ve recently purchased Cubase 7 and have been fooling around with it for a while. I noticed there are only a small amount of effect plugins available, so I downloaded some free plugins. Now my question is, where do I put the .dll files? I see the instrument plugins are at C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 7\VSTPlugins, but where do the effects plugins go?

I think you can put them in the same place.
I think that Cubase will automatically tell the difference whether you call up a VST Instrument, or a VST effect, and they’ll each show up in their appropriate menus.
