Installing WL 8.5 on OSX 10.10 "Yosemite"

Hello,

Trying to install the WL 8.5 update on the OSX 10.10 “Yosemite” Developer Preview, and the installer gives an error saying that “You need at least Mac OSX 10.6.0 to install this software” and then it exits.

I don’t expect that beta software would be officially supported by Steinberg, but is there a way around the OSX version check so that I can at least get this installed?

This was not tried yet on our side. Thanks for the report.

Although it wasn’t mentioned in the release notes, the 8.5.10 maintenance release fixed this issue for me.

Yes, I can confirm that the 8.5.10 update installs and works correctly on Mac OSX 10.10.
