Instrument changes, but separate staves

I have 3 clarinets in one player part, “allow instrument changes” is selected, “show extra staves across full system…” is deselected, but the staves are not merged. Is there any other option to define?

You are in page view?
(In galley view all staves are supposed to be visible to allow entering notes for a specific Clarinet.)

I am speaking about page view! And in the percussion staff the condensing works!

Are you talking about condensing (multiple players notated on 1 staff)? Or about 1 player holding multiple instruments?

I assumed the latter.

It is likely that there is some overlap between the instruments.

I am talking about 1 player holding multiple instruments.

If you could supply a project file, or even a screen shot, we might not have to guess.

I am speaking about page 3 e.g. - Sorry for the layout-mess.

Just to be sure ..

You are talking about the Partitur Layout?
You don’t allow instrument changes there.

(but checking that still leaves the extra staves, so something else must be going on, tried to remove the chord symbol regions, but that wasn’t it either)

It’s getting late here, I’m guessing this is resolved by someone before I got out of bed

In this project, Allow Instrument changes is not selected and show extra staves across full system is selected. That’s just the opposite of your original post. When I changed these, the clarinet parts condensed properly except for page 2 where I think you need to move the Chord symbol visibility (gray line) in Klar (A) down to the B-Kar. part (assuming you want that section condensed).

I honestly apologize for my mistake - I had checked the options in the parts only, but not in the score. - Thank you for your help!
