Instrument names-align

How do I align the instrument names in the marked section with the staff?

Pressing Enter in Edit Name does not work in other flows.

Remove the line break after Clarinet 1 in your first instrument name:

Then you may prefer to reduce the Staff Label font size:

Or to increase the staff-to-staff spacing:

The oboe should be on the fifth line in the regular section.

I didn’t find a proper way to vertical align staff labels, but you can fake one by entering a line break before the Oboes in the Edit Names dialogue

But, why would you want those names be aligned on top, and the violin centered?

Inserting a line break causes it to not align properly in another flow.

I guess you’ll have to provide an example which shows your problem, when I add an extra flow to your example it shows the same for second flow

Even with a line break, it doesn’t fit perfectly.

That’s to be expected, when faking ….

You could enter a space and a linebreak in the staff name, and then reduce fontsize of that space

I didn/t mean a screenshot, I meant a projectfile

How can I reduce the font size for line breaks in the staff name?

I managed to do that by not just add a line break, but a space + linebreak

I could redoce font size for that combinatien, like you reduced font size for Flute 1
