Instrument number when only one instrument is playing

Is it possible that, in cases where only one instrument is playing, only one number is shown next to the instrument name?

We’d need to see the page before this, but I think the issue might be that at the start of bar 83, both bassoons are still technically “playing”, so the staff label indicates that. It’s not until the fourth beat that it becomes bassoon 1 only.

You might be able to fix this with a manual condensing change.

You can disable the bassoon condensing for this system:

then insert a system break at the beginning and hide the bassoon 2:

Unless there’s an option to hide the non-playing instrument in the staff label when condensing, but I’m not sure…
