I’m having this problem where on tacet movements the first instrument shows unwanted. How do I delete this percussion legend? I read somewhere that you have to unlink the player from the flow but then the movement disappears and I want to show all the rest measures.
Check the Players page of Layout Options. That looks like an instrument change label at the start of the flow, which can be disabled there.

I disabled it but now the first instrument of each flow is not showing for that part.
I think you can probably hide that individual instrument change label via the Properties panel in Engrave mode.
