Hi, I just reinstalled Cubase and suddenly one of the instrument tracks in one of my songs wont play back the midi information on the track. If I arm the track, enable monitoring, and press the keys on my midi keyboard, the instrument produces sound just fine. But if I ask Cubase to play the midi part I recorded for the track months ago there is no sound. And no, the midi event isn’t muted.
Oddly, if I duplicate the track, the duplicated track works perfectly - as in, it can play back recorded midi and everything. So the solution is clearly to just duplicate it, delete the old track, and forget about the whole thing. But I’m curious: Is this some sort of bug, or can anyone think of a proper, settings-related explanation why the track isn’t working?
