All of a sudden I can’t mute instrument tracks from the arranger window.
They will only mute if I do so in the mixer window.
I’ve read that other people have this problem.
On Cubase 10.0.3 with Mac 10.14.6
Have I activated some weird non-muting function…?

Do you use multi-out on the Instrument?
Yes, the problem seems to appear when I use multi-out instruments like Omnisphere, Trillian, Korg Trition VST, and Korg M1 VST.

Then it works as specified. Discussed multiple times here in the forum already.
In case of multi-outs Mute in the Project window mutes the source MIDI data. In the MixConsole it mutes the Instrument Audio Return bus.
