Hello Guys. Does anyone know if there is way I can edit the range of the different instruments found in “Change Instrument Type for Active Track” in score view?
The reason I want to do this is so I can edit the range of each instrument like Dorico? Below is a screenshot of Dorico and if you look to the left of the screenshot you can edit each individual instrument and their range.
I know you can filter the pitches in instrument settings in cubase but it excludes the pitches instead of coloring the pitches outside of their ranges like Dorico. Below is a picture of how I want the notes to look if I am outside of the custom range set by me.
I have tried doing this in the logic editor and have not been able to do so…the input transformer does not colorize notes so I am not able to do it there either. If there is no solution to this, I really would like the Cubase team to consider adding this feature in the next update please! Cubase is king when it comes to Daws and adding this would make this software even better!!! Ty!!!
