Instrument with spoken voice / numbers?

Hi,

Does anybody know of any Halion (full, or SE), or GrooveAgent, or any other instruments/drum sets that have spoken numbers “1, 2, 3 and 4” somewhere in them? Have been searching for a while and can’t find any but am sure I’ve come across them before!

In case you are wondering, I am setting up a click track using instruments rather than Cubase metronome, and want to have a spoken 1, 2, 3, 4 count at the intro and various other cue points within the song.

Thanks.

Have you considered using one of those “speak and spell” plugins? For example, if you have Kontakt you can try something like this to create the one, two, three…

Well you could just record the numbers yourself & then use those samples in Grove Agent or Halion (not SE).

Thanks both for the replies - I had already considered both of those options but I just know that previously when scrolling through instruments I definitely found one that had some spoken phrases, things like “oh”, “yeah”, “1,2,3,4” and just thought I could use that rather than going down adding another VST or my own samples!

Anyway, I spent another couple of hours scrolling through instruments and couldn’t find anything at all, so will probably go down the Halion sample route (am running full version not SE).

Thanks again!

If it were me I’d sample the opening of Taxman to have a Beatle doing the count.

try this chipspeech

Thanks all - some good solutions and ideas there!
