Interesting ASIO Problem with RME Babyface Pro

When I try to records I het this message
“ASIO driver is not working :bangbang:”

M2 Macbook PRO 2023
OSX: Ventura 13.2.1
Cubase version 11.0.41
RME Babyface PRO

  • I can play system audio via RME
  • I can use RME with Garage Band
  • RME Totalmix is working too
  • In Cubase Studio Setup / Audio System, I can select RME and also audio Connections window I can select RME in and outs
    So the soundcard is working but the problem is Cubase not playing audio and not recording.

Any help appreciated :pray:t3::disappointed::disappointed::disappointed:

Could you try to reinstall the driver and maybe also Cubase, please?

I did a firmware update to Babyface Pro. Than re installed the driver, reinstalled Cubase Pro 11. Problem still persists :frowning:

have you set to cubase to allow the microphone in the system settings?

Just-in-case…according to the Read Me, you have to install the driver first, then the firmware, followed by unplugging the Babyface pro and plugging it back in.
